David N. Wakeman

In his current role, Mr. Wakeman is responsible for the oversight and support of all electric and natural gas field operations; including subtransmission and distribution maintenance, engineering design, safety and training, reliability planning, dispatch operations, electrical and natural gas emergency response, and construction services for Ameren Illinois.

With over 35 years with Ameren, Mr. Wakeman has previously held the positions of Senior Vice President, Corporate Safety, Security and Operations Oversight, Senior Vice President, Customer Operations, Senior Vice President Operations and Technical Services, and Vice President, Energy Delivery.

Mr. Wakeman holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and an MBA, both from Washington University in St. Louis. He is also a licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
