George T. Justice

George Justice is Vice President of Electric Operations for Ameren Illinois Company (Ameren Illinois). As a member of Ameren Illinois' senior leadership team, Justice is responsible for the oversight of more than 50,000 miles of distribution and transmission power lines for 1.2 million customers and leading the company's electric modernization program.

Justice began his career as an engineer designing electric transmission lines in 1982. During his 37-year career, he has progressed through various engineering and operations roles including senior director – Division Operations, and division director for three different Ameren Illinois operating divisions. He is based in Collinsville.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Kentucky and is a licensed professional engineer. He has served on various Chambers of Commerce and Economic Development boards and was a founding member of the Association of Professional Energy Consultants.
