Because electric vehicle charging equipment is a relatively new technology, Ameren Missouri recommends that customers purchase from reputable retailers or suppliers. Visit our Find an EVP page to locate recommended installers.
Customers may use their preferred contractors for installation of charging stations. Ameren Missouri has developed a list of Electric Vehicle Partners (EVPs) that are contractors that understand the program and the safety and practical considerations regarding EV charging station installation, but will not require use of these EVPs. Once the EVPs have been established, they will be listed on the Find an EVP page.
Yes, the customer/owner determines if they want to charge a fee for access to the chargers and, if so, what the fees will be.
