Employee Experience

Ameren's co-workers are our most valuable resource, and we strive to provide an employee experience that is equitable and fulfilling. We invest in our co-workers to empower them to grow in their career here at Ameren. Over half of our workforce has a tenure of over 11 years.

We also offer competitive and comprehensive benefits, as well as a variety of programs to support work-life balance and well-being. In exchange, we expect our co-workers to uphold our values, and follow our company code of conduct.

Our Co-Workers At-a-Glance

All In Culture

Our values and All In culture are foundational to how we work and make decisions every day. We build on this strong foundation by providing numerous learning and professional development opportunities, continuing to build skills and engagement that enables our co-workers to Power the Quality of Life for our customers, communities and shareholders.

Driving inclusion across Ameren is an essential component of delivering value and attracting and retaining a diverse and innovative workforce. Ameren offers many best-in-class initiatives including our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and ConvERGing Learning and Action to educate our co-workers, provide teamwork and connection opportunities and build strong communities. Training and Development

Another hallmark of the Ameren employee experience is our focus on growth and development. Every co-worker is assigned a supervisor and provided feedback through annual performance reviews, which include multiple structured meetings through the year, and in real-time situations to help them perform to their fullest potential.

We provide training and resources co-workers need to develop new skills, advance in their roles and grow their leadership potential. Mentoring and reverse mentoring programs foster learning from each other. More than 2,000 co-workers participate in our Mentoring and Connection Community.

We also provide volunteer opportunities within our community and support our co-workers in their own personal volunteer efforts.
