General Service Natural Gas Program Overview

The program offers rebates (PDF) for a portion of the cost of purchasing and installing highly efficient measures. The natural gas energy efficiency equipment rebates have been approved by the Missouri Public Service Commission. Detailed descriptions and eligibility requirements are listed on this website and the applicable rebate forms. The rebate program runs from September 1, 2021 - August 31, 2022.

If you are an Ameren Missouri business electric customer, you may qualify for additional energy efficiency rebates. Visit the BizSavers website to learn more about the specific eligibility requirements for each rebate. Ameren Missouri's electric programs are separate from the natural gas program and have different participation requirements.

Natural Gas Rebate Options

Thermostat

Ameren Missouri offers rebates on the purchase and installation of eligible thermostats. Limit 10 per customer. Learn More

Furnace

A $200 rebate is available for the purchase and installation of an eligible high efficiency furnace unit with an AFUE rating from 92% to 95.9%. Maximum of ten (10) units. Learn More

Boiler

A $300 rebate is available for the purchase and installation of one boiler unit with an AFUE rating of 90 or higher. Maximum of two (2) units. Learn More

Water Heater

A rebate of $200 per unit, $2,000 total on the purchase and installation of up to ten (10), 20-55 gallon, natural gas tank storage water heaters. Learn More

Hot Water Measures

This measure will either be free or discounted to eligible customers, at the discretion of the program. Each kit may include: one shower head, two aerators, ten feet pipe wrap. Learn More

Food Service

A rebate of $1,800 per unit with a limit of two (2) per customer for the purchase and installation of one food service steam cooker - 5 or 6 pan. Learn More

Steam Trap

A rebate of $50 per steam trap with a maximum rebate of $1,250 for the purchase and replacement of up to 25 failing steam traps. Learn More

Audit Improvements

Rebates are available for the purchase and installation of specific gas-efficient equipment and building shell measures. Learn More

Insulation

A rebate of $0.0268 x sq. ft. x ΔR with a maximum rebate of $250 for the purchase and installation of ceiling insulation by a certified insulation contractor. Learn More

Sealing Measures

$395 per 0.5 ACH reduction with a maximum rebate of $800. Learn More
To Qualify, you MUST be an Ameren Missouri Natural Gas Customer.

You can either print and complete the appropriate September 1, 2021 - August 31, 2022 rebate form or complete the online rebate form.
