Retro-Commissioning (RCx)

Building systems in large facilities often become inefficient over time. Ameren Missouri's BizSavers® program offers Retro-Commissioning (RCx) Incentives to help get your systems back to their most efficient levels. RCx is intended for large facilities (more than 100,000 sq. ft.), usually with existing energy management systems. RCx Incentives are different than most other BizSavers incentives because the customer is not only eligible for a per-kWh-reduced incentive, but also for partial reimbursement of costs associated with an upfront effectiveness study of the facility. Projects can receive a $0.01-0.03 per kWh incentive for performing a technical analysis study and a $0.06-$0.18 per kWh incentive for energy-efficient system upgrades.
