Ameren Missouri's BizSavers® program offers cash incentives to offset the cost of energy efficiency projects for new and expanding businesses in the Ameren Missouri service territory. Whether you are adding on to your existing facility or building a new structure, we want to help you optimize the energy efficiency of your business operations.
Who's Eligible
An application for energy efficiency incentives for New Construction must be submitted during the design phase of the project to qualify for New Construction Incentives. Upon receipt of the application for energy efficiency incentives, a program representative will contact you to schedule a Design Team Meeting.
At the Design Team Meeting, you will work with your team and the BizSavers representative to establish a baseline for measuring future energy savings. Together, we will review the incentive process and identify equipment or systems in your business that may qualify for New Construction Incentives.

Three Types of New Construction Incentives
Interior lighting can account for as much as a third of your electric usage. Therefore, Ameren Missouri offers an incentive for new construction to encourage a reduction in the wattage of installed interior lighting. Through thoughtful lighting system design combined with the use of high efficiency fixtures and lamps, the Installed Interior Lighting Incentive will assist in the reduction of electricity usage and lower energy costs at your new facility.
If your project is not on the Standard Incentives list, it may qualify for a Custom Incentive. Virtually any cost-effective energy-efficient project qualifies for a Custom Incentive. These incentives are calculated based on the projected annual energy reduction.
