About the Project

The Limestone Ridge Project includes the construction of a new, 138-kV transmission line and connects two substations in Perry and Cape Girardeau Counties. More than half of the new transmission line is co-located along the existing Wabash Valley Power Alliance right-of-way.

The new transmission line is improving system reliability and providing additional energy support for local manufacturing facilities. It also allows for efficient future expansion of the energy grid.

Crews completed the Limestone Ridge Project in December 2023. Land restoration efforts will continue into the spring of 2024.

Completion Date: December 2023
