Hydroelectric Energy Centers
Hydroelectric power is a reliable and renewable resource, using the power of moving water to spin turbines and generate electricity. Our hydroelectric facilities have been an important part of our generation mix for more than a century and are well-positioned to produce clean energy for decades to come.
Keokuk Energy Center
Since 1913, our Keokuk Renewable Energy Center has harnessed the power of the Mississippi River to generate clean, low cost and reliable energy.
Osage
The Osage Energy Center, located inside Bagnell Dam at Lake of the Ozarks, is a major source of clean, renewable energy for Missouri customers.
Taum Sauk
Like a giant battery, Taum Sauk Energy Center stores the natural power of 1.5 billion gallons of water to safely and reliably generate electricity when it's needed most.
Hydroelectric Reports
Reports on our hydroelectric facilities are available for review.
